Because of the lighting! All they use… everywhere is… fluorescent light! In subways, fine. In grocery store, that I can accept too. But this awful light is EVERYWHERE! In apartment stores, restaurants, our apartment. No human being looks good in it! You don’t even look human! I get it, being pale over here is the ideal. But that light, makes you look DEAD. No foundation or cover stick can save you in these environments. It’s like you walk into the stores naked. I don’t get it..
