Today after the sun had set we went up in Tokyo Tower! What an amazing feeling! We slept in pretty late since we were out clubbing last night. Went to a place called Atom Club in Shibuya. Three dance floors w different music styles. It was great! And somewhat different. The dance floors where… small. The rooms where big but 2/3 was occupied by tables and chairs.  I remember this from the last time we were here too, same thing at a couple of others clubs. Everyone was dancing facing the DJ, like as if it were a concert. And of course, ppl were smoking inside. Since a couple of years back smoking inside at clubs, restaurants, pubs etc. is prohibited in Sweden. Thank god.

We took the first subway home at 5am! On our way home we saw a dude get completely mashed in the middle of the street, getting his head banged in the concrete multiple times. His entire face was covered in blood, leaving a puddle on the street. Attempted murder for real. We stopped a couple of meters away from him, there wasn’t really anything we could do. He probably didn’t speak English and we couldn’t call 911 since we didn’t have a phone. The dude that beat him up had two more guys w him, all dressed the same way w their gang-name on the back of their shirts. So for our own safety we walked away after a while. There were a lot of other ppl around, including a female friend, so I hope someone helped them. It was creepy to see tho. (I should might add tho, that Tokyo is one of the safest cities in the world.)

Now on to something else.. Tomorrow we’re going to Kyoto! Staying there for 2 nights and then continuing to Hiroshima for a day, and then back home to Tokyo. We’ll be using the railway passes we fixed before the trip and they last for a week. Anyone have a suggestion on where else to go?
