Ey, Emma here! I'm in Tokyo studying japanese at an international language school. I'll be staying here for a year! Check out my videos on YT too!

Hi there! So Christmas and New Years have past and I’ve had a great time! I wasn’t really feeling the japanese tradition, which is to go to KFC on christmas eve and eat chicken (no joke!). Instead I spent the day at Disney Sea, which was AWESOME! Best_place_on_earth. New Years was really sweet too. We started off the night by going to an izakaya where we ate and drank a bunch, after that we went to a karaoke. We spent ‘tolvslaget’ at a club in Shibuya and after a couple of hours we made our way to a temple. They don’t have any fireworks over here during the new years, which was kind of a surprise to me. We went to the temple in Harajuku, and boy where there many people. People visit temples to pray for good health and fortune. All around Harajuku there were tons of food stands and other activities going on. But we came there around 3am and it was sooo cold, so directly after the visit to the temple we took a cab home.
My new years resolution is to go get a hair cut THIS month. I hate going to the hairdressers, even more so in Japan! Guess I’ll just have to being some paper and a pen and draw what I want. At this point my hair looks so bad I’m embarrassed to go get my hair cut! god dammit!!

Have a great 2011 everyone!!
